How to improve search and AI discovery for your website
Practical SEO foundations, clear factual answers and a careful reindexing process, with the limits of Frontlane’s website checks explained.
Make public pages easy to crawl, answer visitor questions clearly and support factual claims with evidence. Check the live page, then request a recrawl where appropriate. Neither a passed check nor an indexing request guarantees search visibility or AI citations.
Start with a useful public page
Explain what you offer, who it helps, its real price and the next step. Use a clear page title and main heading. Give specific answers based on your own product, and identify the operator or author. Keep important information in readable text alongside useful visuals.
Check crawl access and the preferred URL
Return a successful response for an available public page. Review robots.txt and noindex directives, link to the page from relevant pages, and choose a consistent canonical URL. Include eligible canonical pages in your sitemap. Private dashboards, admin and payment pages should stay excluded.
Use the same foundations for Google AI search
Google says its existing SEO practices apply to AI Overviews and AI Mode. A supporting page must be indexed and eligible to appear with a snippet. There is no special AI text file or schema required for those features. These practices do not guarantee that an AI system will select or cite your page.
Keep structured data factual
Describe only the visible content using a relevant schema type. Do not invent ratings, reviews, credentials or offers. Check both the markup and the page it describes. Valid markup can support eligibility for a search feature; it does not guarantee a rich result.
Recheck before requesting indexing
Inspect an important changed URL in Google Search Console and request indexing if it is eligible. Submit the sitemap for broader discovery. A request is not proof of indexing, and repeated requests do not speed up a recrawl. Check the provider’s later indexing status.

Use Frontlane for evidence, not predictions
Frontlane Grow checks the listed page’s server-returned HTML, robots.txt and one sitemap. It does not execute JavaScript, crawl the full site, measure speed or track AI mentions. Connect your own Search Console account for Google performance. Optional Grow Pro adds scheduled checks and private weekly reports; it does not publish edits or guarantee rankings.
