Listing rules
Free discovery. Paid spotlight. Clear rules for both.
Version 2026-10-01.1 · USD pricing · UTC daily boards
Two ways to get listed
Free listings appear in the right column, with the newest original submission first. Paid placements appear in the left column, ordered by confirmed paid total. On mobile, paid listings appear first and free listings follow. A paid placement is advertising, not an endorsement by Frontlane.
If Ali submits first and Abu submits one second later, Abu appears above Ali in the free column. Equal free timestamps favor the later insertion. The free column is the current directory even when viewing a daily paid board.
Submit once, promote later
Provide a public website URL or X profile, a name, a useful description, and a category. You must own the website or be authorized to represent it. No account is required. We remove tracking parameters and fragments, normalize URLs and handles, and preserve different website paths as distinct listings.
The same canonical URL can only have one listing. Re-submitting does not move it to the top or change its content. Choose “Promote” to move a free listing into the paid column. Existing names, descriptions and categories cannot be changed by strangers who pay for the URL. Ask support for a correction and be prepared to prove authorization.
Paid ranking and prices
- The first paid placement starts at $5 USD. Target totals are whole dollar amounts, up to $999,999.
- Additional payments must increase the selected board’s total by at least $1. You pay only the difference between the selected target and your current total on that board.
- To take first place from another website, a new target above the leader must be at least $5 above that leader when Checkout opens. Matching a total does not promise first place.
- Higher confirmed net totals rank first. Equal totals favor the first payment confirmation; ties within the same confirmation second use a stable insertion order.
- Rank is assigned after payment confirmation. A competing payment may change your expected rank during Checkout.
Listing duration and service closure
All-time listings have no scheduled expiry and remain while Frontlane operates, subject to the listing rules. A one-time payment does not buy lifetime hosting or guarantee permanent availability, a fixed rank, or traffic. Daily paid rankings reset at midnight UTC without removing a listing from All-time.
We may suspend or close the service if we are unable to continue operating or maintaining it. For a planned permanent closure, we aim to give at least 30 days’ notice on the website, stop accepting payments when closure is announced, and fairly review recent payments and undelivered placements. Unexpected emergencies may prevent advance notice. Applicable legal rights remain protected.
Daily boards and payment timing
All-time ranking sums confirmed payments minus refunded amounts and excludes disputed payments. Daily boards count payments confirmed on the chosen UTC calendar date, not the time Checkout opened. UTC days begin at midnight. One payment contributes to both its confirmation day and the all-time total.
A free listing stays free while payment is pending. Paid placement starts only after authenticated Stripe confirmation. Delayed payment methods may take longer. One Checkout per URL can be open or processing at a time; cancel or complete it before trying again. Open Checkouts expire after approximately 30 minutes.
Refunds and disputes
Refunds remove the refunded amount from rankings. Disputed amounts are excluded while the dispute is active or lost; a won dispute restores the eligible amount. If a listing has no remaining eligible paid funds, it returns to the free column at its original submission time, without a new-submission bump. See the refund policy.
What is prohibited
No scams, impersonation, malware, phishing, stolen content, unlawful goods or services, adult content, hateful or violent threats, misleading claims, spam or duplicate submissions intended to manipulate placement. Do not submit chat invitations, link shorteners, private/local network addresses, or credentials in a URL. Do not exploit the site, bypass its limits, forge payments, inflate clicks, or disrupt other visitors.
Listing validation does not inspect destination content or verify ownership. The operator may review, hide, correct, or remove prohibited listings. Payment never exempts a listing from these rules.
Reports, appeals and visibility
Use a listing’s “Report” link or contact support with its URL and a clear explanation. Do not include passwords or full card details. For a correction or appeal, explain your relationship to the website and provide evidence of authorization. The operator reviews requests manually; submitting a report does not automatically remove a listing.
Placement buys visibility in the directory, not permanent rank, a minimum display period, traffic, clicks, sales, SEO results, or ownership verification. Historical click counts include recorded redirects. New measurement filters recognized bots and repeat visits in a UTC day. Daily estimates are not exact unique visitors or conversions; see the dashboard measurement notes.
