What the free column offers

A free listing publishes without Checkout or a card. Its original submission time determines its order. If Ali submits a URL and Abu submits one second later, Abu appears above Ali. Re-submitting Ali’s URL does not move it up. The free column gives every eligible website a way to participate without purchasing placement.

What sponsored placement changes

A first paid placement starts at $5 USD. Paid listings appear in their own featured column, ordered by confirmed eligible total. A free listing remains free while a payment is pending and moves after payment confirmation. Payments are one-time charges, with no subscriptions or automatic renewals. Why a position can change

Another website can pay more and rank above yours. Refunds and disputes can also adjust eligible totals. Today’s paid board counts payments confirmed on that UTC day; All-time uses the eligible total across days. A payment does not reserve first place, promise a fixed display period or guarantee traffic. Listing duration depends on Frontlane continuing to operate and the listing following its rules.

Directory rank and search rank are different

A higher position on Frontlane is an advertising placement within this directory. It does not mean that Google, Bing or an AI assistant will rank or recommend the destination website. Sponsored outbound links are marked as sponsored. Frontlane does not sell guaranteed SEO backlinks or guaranteed AI citations.

Choose using your own evidence

Start free, make the message clear and check whether people who visit the website find it useful. If you later choose paid placement, decide what you want to learn from that exposure. The owner dashboard can estimate impressions and outbound clicks, while your own website must measure signups, sales or other actions. The dashboard’s figures are estimates rather than an independent audit.
